Glid presentation on smarter freight solutions at a South Bay Cities Council of Governments meeting

Our COO, Matt Mueller, had the opportunity to engage with local leaders at South Bay Cities Council of Governments (SBCCOG), highlighting Glīd's vision for a more efficient, resilient, and sustainable first-mile freight network. As ports and supply chains evolve, hybrid road-to-rail technology is no longer a future concept—it's a necessary step forward.

By leveraging road and rail on the same vehicle, we eliminate process waste, capex requirements, emissions, road congestion, and safety risk for our labor force. We also enable more flexible and durable supply chains by promoting solutions that can withstand the impact of rapid supply and demand imbalances caused by the current remapping of trade partnerships.

We look forward to the continued engagement of our leaders in adjacent port communities supporting Port of Long Beach and Port of Los Angeles.
